2NE1 Cover contest

So in case you guys didn’t hear about it, 2NE1 and YG are holding a 2NE1 cover contest wherein you get a chance to watch up live 2NE1’s first concert in Korea. The mechanics are as simple as getting you or with your buddies to make a cover of 2NE1’s new song “Lonely”

The prizes are as follows:

Winner (A winner or winning Team): For attending 2NE1′s summer concert (airline tickets, accommodations, and concert ticket)+ YG Building tour.
Runner-Up (A winner or winning Team): 2NE1 signed CD + goods + 2NE1 signed Polaroid
2nd runner-up (5 winners or 5 winning Teams): 2NE1 signed CD
ALL cover videos of winners will have the honor to be on 2NE1′s official Youtube channel!

Awesome isn’t it? Come on who doesn’t want to win this fuckin thing? I mean you get a chance to see 2NE1 with full accomodations hotel, airfare, everything! PLUS you get to tour the YG building! Top KPOP Songs of 2010

So as the new year begins, here is my top 16KPOP songs for the year of 2010.

As you could see, Shinee is at the top of my 2010 rankings for favorite song. Actually they were also my favorite group for 2010. So you might wonder why Hello is over every other songs that sold better than the repackaged album. Well first the song is something that you won’t get tired of listening to. I remember having this song on my Ipod since October and I didn’t grew tired of this song until now. Second is that it’s vintage Shinee. Yes, Shinee isn’t that old to be called vintage. But in their last two singles before Hello (Lucifer and Ring Ding Dong) they used a much darker theme than the old ones. Another thing that made me like Hello was the vocals. I mean this one shows how they’re really a great group. Jonghyun’s vocal range is so high.

So beautiful is at 2. Why? Because the song is so addicting. Well I kinda got over with Beautiful for about a few days now (because of IU’s Good day). However, the song is still fun. What not to like about this. It’s so different than Beast’s old song. They look much cute here.

Taeyang’s I’ll be There ranks at 3. Okay to be honest 1-3 doesn’t have that much difference at all. I love those 3 songs equally I guess. Well anyways Taeyang’s I’ll be There is a superb song for a lot of reasons. One thing I found is the emotion of the song. Yes like most of Taeyang’s song it’s about a particular girl that he loves. The choreography is another awesome thing about this. The song have a very very difficult choreography as I could see. Despite all of that, Taeyang can still hit those high notes.

So from 4-16 they’re actually random. They can vary depending on my mood. However, they’re still the songs that I really really liked for the whole 2010. If you have objections with that then I suggest you go to another blog site.

 

2NE1 releases comeback track “Can’t Nobody”

After the 24 hour delay of the released of the Music Video. 2NE1 has finally released the MV for their comeback single “Can’t Nobody”.

All I can say is that it’s another awesome MV from YG. Reminded me of Big Bang again but heck it’s not a copycat. It’s just a real female version of Big Bang. Mind you Minzy looks totally hot in this one.

Not much to say cause I’m speechless. Watch out for their comeback tonight on SBS Inkigayo (I’ll be posting it most likely tonight so watch out)

2NE1 releases “Go Away” MV

ICarly special is now on… well anyway

I don’t effin care cause this has got to be the most awesome MV I have seen in the KPOP scene so far this year. After releasing the MV for their song “Clap your hands”, they released through 2NE1’s youtube the MV for their another song “Go Away”.

Yes I have abstain to see and hear any previews of all their songs, so I have got to say this is their best so far.

Well the MV focuses on CL (as well as the song I guess since she has a lot of lines). She looks so beautiful and how could just guy punch the living hell on her. Gawd I just want to kill that guy. Yes the MV is freakin awesome, it’s like a movie for heaven’s sake.

The most anticipated comeback of the second half of the year is nearing. Watch out for the MV for their comeback single “Can’t Nobody” to be released tomorrow

2NE1 – Clap your hands MV

What could have been the most anticipated comeback in the KPOP scene in the second half of the year, 2NE1 has finally released their MV for their comeback track “Clap your Hands”

I know!! We all have been waiting for this and finally!!

TV5 Likes Mocking KPOP!

Apparently that’s the case. I know that the guys from TV5 (AKA The Kapatid Network) are just having fun when they do things like this

But it’s no fun for me at all. I mean if you’re a Filipino you’ll find this amusing. But if you’re a Filipino and have been intact with the Korean (and Japanese in my case) Culture. You’ll find this offending.

What they are doing is misunderstanding the lyrics of songs. It’s funny if you don’t know Hangul at all but if you do now it’s offending and it pisses me off.

They not only made fun of the video but also the song. I mean Hangul is the main language for Koreans. It’s part of their culture. But what TV5 is trying to do is like mocking them. It’s no fun at all. Maybe they are laughing but I’m not, I got offended with this. They should really stop making these kind of videos. It’s not really funny. It’s offending and it’s pointless.

They should really think of something else to make fun of. Just not this. It’s like giving a shout out to them that their music sucks. I don’t think TV5 has even the rights to the songs. But there they are making fun of them.

How about putting it like this. The Koreans make fun of our language? Will that be funny or offending?

TV5 is just a growing company right now. They still have a lot to go. And if they wanna go far, they have to stop doing this. If let’s say SM Entertainment or YG Entertainment learns about this. They could get a lawsuit for it. And that could cause the downfall of a new network.

So a shoutout to the guys on TV5. Don’t do to others what you don’t want others to do unto you.

2NE1’s Try To Follow Me Full MV Released

I know you’ve been waiting for this. 2NE1’s newest and most anticipated video is finally released.This isn’t supposed to have a video but due to positive critical reception, YG finally decided to make a music video for this one.

All I got to say is that the video is awesome. Costume was awesome, set was awesome, dress was awesome, anything else awesome please tell us. I love Dara’s since with Minzy and CL in that Star Wars thing outfit. I love Park Bom’s hair. I love CL’s outfits and makeup which makes her look like the Korean version of Lady Gaga.

So the video was awesome wasn’t it?

Kara’s Lupin and #1

Earlier today, Korean Girl Group Kara has released their Third Mini album with title Track ‘Lupin’. Here’s the song

Did you liked it? Well I did. Lupin is a sure track that has a big potential to beat those two powerhouse group SNSD and 2NE1.

Oh wait! They already did!
