S/mileage releases Yume Miru 15sai CM’s

Wow S/mileage has gone through a lot of promotions lately for their upcoming debut major single Yume Miru 15sai. Well various activities to promote their upcoming album, S/mileage and UFA has finally decided to released the CM’s.

Without furter ado, here are S/mileage’s CM’s for their upcoming single Yume Miru 15sai

Yes those are what you called Augmented Reality. Funny how they liked practiced doing those on S/mileage. Well it’s pretty much cool but gets kinda boring after the 2nd because it’s all actually the same. Well at least this increases interest to fans.

Oh and S/mileage also appeared as half-time performers on Japan’s Basketball League. Here’s the coverage

Well I find it weird with UFA thinking of promoting S/mileage in a basketball game. But anything to promote the girls is fine I guess

5 Hello! Project members that are Naturally born Idols

Okay so first of all this is solely based on my observation. I have seen almost all of Hello! Project members performing live, on TV shows, on radio shows, variety shows, etc. You could say who are born or destined to be idols for life. Being an Idol isn’t meant for everyone I say. For example, I see Konno Asami having a brighter future if she’s not an Idol.

Well anyways, here are my 5 Hello! Project members that are Naturally Born to be an Idol

5. Suzuki Airi

When you combine talent and beauty to an Idol. You can’t go wrong with this one. Airi is just born to be an idol. She’s a natural beauty. She’s the youngest ever idol (I guess) to lead a single. And finally, she almost took over C-ute!

4. Fukuda Kanon

She’s still young and I can see her as the future of Hello! Project together with some of the most talented Hello! Project Eggs. Her singing vocals are awesome! Way awesome I guess. She has that Idol Aura that makes you love her more. Even if it happens that S/mileage will disband in 2-3 years, I can see her still going solo as an Idol.

3. Linlin

I call her the future of Morning Musume. I really admire this girls vocals. It’s so powerful. She’s like a younger version of Takahashi Ai. And I can see her taking over Morning Musume in the future. Just wait and see. Ai and Risa won’t last 5 years longer with the group. Mitsui is just pure cuteness no talent. Linlin, though Tsunku hasn’t given her a decent amount of lines yet, will take over Takahashi Ai’s place soon. Just wait till Ai graduates or something, you’ll see her taking over almost all of Ai’s lines in every Morning Musume song.

2. Miyamoto Karin / Tanabe Nanami

It’s not because they’re cute. It’s because they love what they’re doing. As young as they are (12 and 11 respectively this year) you can see how they are enjoying their status as Hello! Project Idols. Let’s start with Nanami first. At the beginning when they had the Shugo Chara audition and they got Nanami. I thought WTF were they thinking! I saw Nanami’s picture on the audition and she’s no way look like an idol. Yeah I know that was a horrible shot. I haven’t watched Shugo Chara for a while then. But I gave it a shot since I heard the new girl is going to appear. And immediately I was impressed of her presence on the TV. She’s not shy like most new comers are. She’s comfortable on doing her job. Then, the next thing that came to my mind is her singing. She’s only 10 so I thought her voice was horrible. Something like Nakky’s voice on Lalala Shiawase no Uta.

I saw the performance and I thought “Hey this girls has talent”. Her voice isn’t that great…. yet. Wait for a couple of years she going to take over!

Next is Karin.

Yeah this performance made me see the future of her. She’s actually good. Yeah I know she’s still has the cute charm that’s why everyone loves her. But this girl in a matter of a year! Yes only a year! Tsunku’s gonna give her something big wait for it! She’s actually in a new unit with her H!P Eggs buddies right?

1. Tsugunaga Momoko

At the very beginning of my Hello! Project journey. She was the first girl to come in my life. She was born to do what she’s doing. I know that she’s growing old already and she has plans on going to college (yeah check that out). But she’s like the opposite of Konno Asami. She has a brighter future as an Idol believe me. And I just wish she does. She can’t be a model in the future she’s small. But she can be a singer, an idol! She won’t be with Berryz forever. But after she graduates believe me she’s still going to pursue a career as an idol.

Here’s a video of  Satoda Mai praising Tsugunaga Momoko. It was really hilarious but at the same time true. Momo is really really like that isn’t she?

Special mentions:

Maeda Yuuka

Ogawa Saki

and

Tokunaga Chinami

S/mileage – Yume Miru 15sai PV Preview

Finally! S/mileage’s PV Preview for their upcoming single Yume Miru 15sai is now out. Good thing is that it’s not a 30sec preview. It’s about a minute and a half long which gives us more appreciation for them. The PV is actually good. It’s not anymore childish like the their first four indies singles. Saki has great vocals for her age doesn’t she. I just hope that their first major single would be successful now that their signed with Pony Canyon.

Wada, Kanon, and Yuuka to form a unit for anime

Yeah! No sht!

I was actually kinda shocked when I heard read this on Hello! Online’s Twitter this Morning since S/mileage is just debuting but here we have another unit by 3 of the 4 S/mileage members.

Their unit is called ‘Lilpuri’ which came from the anime they’ll be singing for.

Here’s the OP of the anime entitled ‘Little Princess’

The song is okay. I mean it’s good for an anime.

Well since the unit is for an anime. The group won’t last that long (unless the anime last like Shugo Chara). This would also be the second time the three girls are in a unit for an anime (first time was Shugo Chara Egg for the anime mentioned above).

Oh yeah and most likely this will have a PV since it has a release date and everything

Released date is set for 6/16

Second S/mileage Twitter Event Tonight at 8 (JPN Local Time)

Well it’s another S/mileage twitter event. I missed the first one since I was out in somebody else place. Definitely not gonna miss this one. It’s at 8pm Japan Time but 7pm in the Philippines!

Tip: Obviously, the girls will be tweeting in Japanese so I suggest on downloading babelfish for firefox. Just key in babelfish in google and definitely you’ll find it

S/mileage goes Major!

On the joint concert of Mano Erina and S/mileage. The girls revealed their complete mosaic board of the 10,000 smiles campaign S/mileage did last month. It was a success. So it means S/mileage will go Major this May! Congratulations to S/mileage

Here’s the footage of S/mileage with Tsunku announcing their Major Debut

The girls will be signed under Pony Canyon (same one as Buono!) which means they could get a lot of success (I mean Buono! got successful ung Pony Canyon). Their debut single will be Yume Miru 15sai which will come in 4 single. A, B, Normal and the Single V.

More pics from the concert.

Congratulations to S/mileage! And I hope they will be successful in their future!

S/mileage is A/wesome!!

I’ve been too bust with my KPOP fandom that I almost forgot my H!P fandom.

Now here It goes…

(from left to right; Ogawa Saki, Maeda Yuuka, Wada Ayaka, Fukuda Kanon)

WHO DOESN’T LOVE S/MILEAGE!?

I mean since the Graduation of the Whole Elder Club last year. H!P and UFA pretty much did everything wrong. Graduations, Solo Single, Bad PV, Poor Sales, go name some more. Well within those times of despair, they did at least something right and that’s to regroup the once cute group Shugo Chara Egg and forming the ultra super mega and CUTER group now known as S/mileage (no offense to SCE but I really think those 4 aren’t that cute, well except for Nanami-chan she’s cute ).

Well you don’t know S/mileage. Here’s the chance for you to know them

They were announce at Tsunku’s blog on April 4, 2009 (which reminds me… their one year is only weeks away) and released their first single “aMa no jaku” on June 7, 2009.

At first I doubted the groups success since at that time I loss hope with H!P. But after a few more views and listening to the song. I was convinced. S/mileage can do better. So I thought, maybe S/mileage would be the next H!P group

Then “Asu wa Deeto na no ni Ima sugu Koe ga kikitai”. Yes it has a long title which pissed me off at first.

But after I heard and watched the song (which coincidentally is after my Physics test which I’m bad at) everything changed. From the once doubtful group to my new favorite. I said then to myself, this could be the next Melon Kinenbi!

But then… Suki-Chan was released

This song failed. No not the song but the sales. I absolutely love the song, it has that rockish yet cute feel to it. But the song had poor sales. Why? UFA had a bad marketing strategy. Oh you don’t know what I mean? Well simple. The song was released at November 23, 2009 and the PV was released around January. I mean why release the single before the PV, that’s totally wrong. You wanna know how this chart? it ranked #159 and had a total sales of 399.

But then S/mileage bounce back

This time they did the opposite thing, releasing the PV first then the single! I don’t know how the song charted yet. I don’t expect something high like the top 10 of the Oricon but at least making it in the Top 20 or 30 of the Oricon chart is fair enough since they’re still an indie group.

What made me love S/mileage so much? Well mainly it’s because of Kanon and Dawa

Kidding Kidding

Well they are that group with everyone having awesome voices(Saki and Kanon). I tell you give this group a little bit more time and experience and you’ll see what I mean. If this is your first time of hearing S/mileage, well give these girls a chance you’ll see they’re awesome.
