Top KPOP Songs of 2010

So as the new year begins, here is my top 16KPOP songs for the year of 2010.

1. Hello Shinee

2. Beautiful Beast

3. I’ll be There Taeyang

4. High High GD and Top

5. Good Day IU

6. Lucifer Shinee

7. I need a girl Taeyang

8. Go Away 2NE1

9. Hoot SNSD

10. No Other Super Junior

11. I did Wrong 2AM

12. Lupin Kara

13. Oh SNSD

14. Run Devil Run SNSD

15. Just a Feeling Taeyang

16. Love Ya SS501

As you could see, Shinee is at the top of my 2010 rankings for favorite song. Actually they were also my favorite group for 2010. So you might wonder why Hello is over every other songs that sold better than the repackaged album. Well first the song is something that you won’t get tired of listening to. I remember having this song on my Ipod since October and I didn’t grew tired of this song until now. Second is that it’s vintage Shinee. Yes, Shinee isn’t that old to be called vintage. But in their last two singles before Hello (Lucifer and Ring Ding Dong) they used a much darker theme than the old ones. Another thing that made me like Hello was the vocals. I mean this one shows how they’re really a great group. Jonghyun’s vocal range is so high.

Here is their first performance of the song  live at Music Bank.

So beautiful is at 2. Why? Because the song is so addicting. Well I kinda got over with Beautiful for about a few days now (because of IU’s Good day). However, the song is still fun. What not to like about this. It’s so different than Beast’s old song. They look much cute here.

Taeyang’s I’ll be There ranks at 3. Okay to be honest 1-3 doesn’t have that much difference at all. I love those 3 songs equally I guess. Well anyways Taeyang’s I’ll be There is a superb song for a lot of reasons. One thing I found is the emotion of the song. Yes like most of Taeyang’s song it’s about a particular girl that he loves. The choreography is another awesome thing about this. The song have a very very difficult choreography as I could see. Despite all of that, Taeyang can still hit those high notes.

So from 4-16 they’re actually random. They can vary depending on my mood. However, they’re still the songs that I really really liked for the whole 2010. If you have objections with that then I suggest you go to another blog site.

Versions: Acoustics

Okay so in case you didn’t know. If I’m not in to JPOP/KPOP, my favorite kind of music would normally acoustic songs. Such as John Mayer (who will be in the Philippines on October 1). So I was browsing the net in search of nice KPOP/JPOP covers in acoustic. Well the only success I had was with KPOP so let’s start things of with it.

So with the first part of versions tonight. Here’s Acoustics

One of the most popular solo artist in Korea today is IU. Yep to be honest she’s one of my favorite. She has a lot of acoustic covers from KPOP to English songs.

Here’s one sample. It’s a cover of Tamia’s Officially Missing You by IU

Lovely isn’t it. I really liked her version. It’s more soothing to the ears.

Now here’s a cover of SNSD’s Gee, Big Bang’s Lies, and Super Juniors Sorry Sorry.

Now here’s SNSD and Super Junior doing Way Back Into Love

Okay. So still without success with JPOP. But I found a nice acoustic cover of Arashi’s Wish. No Vocals but still great I guess.

Well that’s all I found tonight. Tune in for tomorrow as I show you another Versions. Tomorrow’s episode will be all about youtube stars who cover Hello! Project songs

Super Junior – No Other MV released!

Yes this is what almost every SuJu fans have been waiting for. Super Junior’s follow-up track No Other has been released.

As much as I love the song, the video is something to love as well. The MV is simple yet unique in different ways. It’s fun to watch because it’s so calming to the mind. It’s fun and it reminds you of the old Super Junior back to their single Haengbok

Saturday Night Live!

Another Saturday Night Live! Yes but I apologize for this week since there will be songs that aren’t in Live performance.

So the first two songs are from Naruto Shippuuden which is my recent obsession (yes more than H!P I Guess)

The first one is the last Naruto Shippuuden ending before the new one which debuted yesterday; Jitensha by Oreskaband

The other one is the opening for Naruto Shippuuden during the Hidan and Kakuzu arc.

Yes I missed A LOT of Naruto Shippuuden episodes and just decided to watch it again starting from the Hidan and Kakuzu arc which in my opinion is the second best arc in Naruto right now; only next to the Invasion of Pain arc which is the current arc in the anime.

Next is a song by 2AM which was released a couple of months ago. Yes I’m kinda late I know. But this song just recently hit me hard. Yeah I love this song and how Jo Kwon looks a little less gay. It’s their last single I Did Wrong.

Speaking of Jo Kwon looking Gay. Him dancing to SNSD’s Gee looks so GAY!

Next is something that never grows old with me. It’s F(x)’s NU ABO

Okay following up next is something that I instantly liked! It’s Super Junior’s new song No Other.

This song for me is actually better than Bonamana. It kinda reminded me of the old Super Junior which makes me miss the other 3 members. ]

And this week’s main event is none other than the guy who’s making HIS comeback this week. It’s Big bang’s own TAEYANG!

Sorry for my readers who are fans of H!P. It just that this week is mostly KPOP for me. Don’t worry next week for sure! :-bd

Super Junior release follow up track No Other!

Super Junior’s follow up track to their hit single Bonamana has been released! It is entitled No Other. The song has a different feel from Bonamana because unlike Bonamana which is more of a hiphop thing song, this one is actually on the R&B side. But unlike Bonamana, this song didn’t actuall took time for me to like.

This song along with 3 other tracks namely All my Heart, A Short Journey, and  a remix version of Shake it Up will be included in Super Junior’s Repackaged album.

Watch out cause Super Junior will end their Bonamana promotions this week and are scheduled to begin with No Other soon.!

Super Junior releases Victory Korea

finally it’s here! Super Junior has released their MV for Victory Korea. Like Kara and T-ara, this song is another supporting song for Korea’s national team in the upcoming World Cup.

Though in the vid, only 5 Super Junior members were featured namely; Leeteuk, Shindong, Eunhyuk, Yesung, and Sungmin. The video is a lot more better than Kara and T-ara’s because it simply means more. I love how many people were used as backup in the video. But I feel like the song is more of an ensuring victory song. It’s like something that will be played after Korea wins a game or something.

Bottomline is that the song can be very addicting if you listen it again and again.
