SNSD sings a song for a fruitful elections

As the 2010 Elections ends in our country this evening. Elections in Korea are just upcoming. And SNSD (along with Kara) encourages citizens in South Korea to vote for the future of their country.SNSD released an MV to encourage voters, especially the younger ones to vote for their upcoming elections this June.

Here’s the MV

The song is like a weird mix of Deck the Halls with changed lyrics. The MV is low budget as I think it is. But never the less, the MV has it’s whole point.

SNSD performs Run Devil Run on Sketchbook and on a benefit show for Haiti

Wow that’s a long title

Having ended their promotions for Run Devil Run last week. The girls took a special guest appearance on Sketchbook yesterday. They performed Run Devil Run as well.

More details to follow

and also yesterday. SNSD appeared in a benefit show for the calamities of Haiti (?)

Okay so either one or both of these performance are taped. But I’m pretty sure the Sketchbook was taped. The benefit performance is edited so it might be taped.

SNSD’s ID for MYX Philippines!

This one shocked me. As soon as I opened my youtube account. I saw this on the subscription page uploaded by UNIVERSALRECPH!.

Does this mean SNSD will be going here?

Check out the ID!

The ID will be airing soon on MYX so watch out!

SNSD says goodbye on Music Bank with Oh! and Run Devil Run

Now it seems like just yesterday when the girls made their comeback with Oh!, then said goodbye with Oh!, then returned with Run Devil Run. And now their saying goodbye with Run Devil Run.

The girls performed both of their songs in just one night. Maybe that’s a  return for not being able to perform almost the whole month of April because of the Naval Ship Tragedy.

The girls will be ending promotions for Run Devil Run to prepare for their overseas promotion. Which means that they’ll be gone for a long time (maybe as long as Super Junior or Shinee).

SNSD MV for LG’s Cooky

Now this is what we all kinda missed. The cute SNSD. LG has finally released the MV of SNSD endorsing their Cooky line of cellphones.

The song is similar to Hey Mickey but they kinda changed it to their own, Hey Cooky. The MV is cute. It actually reminded me of Gee.

JKMUSICPH’s Saturday Night Live

Yes! It’s this week’s edition of JKMUSICPH’s Saturday Nigh Live. Showing you 5 random live performances from your favorite artists.

Suki Sugite Baka Mitai – Abe Natsumi, Goto Maki, Matsuura Aya

OMG! Yes! 3 of H!P best artist together in one performance!

All For One and One For All – H!P All Stars

This one was the reason that I learned every artist of H!P. Everytime I watch this I feel sad since most of the people who were on the original PV of this are now gone. And I also miss those big stages that H!P hasn’t done in over a year now.

SNSD – Into The New World = Idol Big Show

That’s the second SNSD that I learned about (first was Gee). I love this performance because it was like their first performance of this song in about months.

Kara – Mickey, Rock U, Mister = MBC Gayo Daejun

This could be a good preview of We’re With You since they are wearing cheerleader outfits. And Mister in those outfits are a win!

Shinee – Ring Ding Dong = MBC Gayo Daejun

This in my opinion the best Ring Ding Dong performance I have ever seen. I miss these guys, never seen them for months now.

And a special Encore performance by Shinee

This has got to be the cutest Shinee performance ever!!

TV5 Likes Mocking KPOP!

Apparently that’s the case. I know that the guys from TV5 (AKA The Kapatid Network) are just having fun when they do things like this

But it’s no fun for me at all. I mean if you’re a Filipino you’ll find this amusing. But if you’re a Filipino and have been intact with the Korean (and Japanese in my case) Culture. You’ll find this offending.

There are tons more of same vids that they made like these ones

What they are doing is misunderstanding the lyrics of songs. It’s funny if you don’t know Hangul at all but if you do now it’s offending and it pisses me off.

They not only made fun of the video but also the song. I mean Hangul is the main language for Koreans. It’s part of their culture. But what TV5 is trying to do is like mocking them. It’s no fun at all. Maybe they are laughing but I’m not, I got offended with this. They should really stop making these kind of videos. It’s not really funny. It’s offending and it’s pointless.

They should really think of something else to make fun of. Just not this. It’s like giving a shout out to them that their music sucks. I don’t think TV5 has even the rights to the songs. But there they are making fun of them.

How about putting it like this. The Koreans make fun of our language? Will that be funny or offending?

TV5 is just a growing company right now. They still have a lot to go. And if they wanna go far, they have to stop doing this. If let’s say SM Entertainment or YG Entertainment learns about this. They could get a lawsuit for it. And that could cause the downfall of a new network.

So a shoutout to the guys on TV5. Don’t do to others what you don’t want others to do unto you.
